REAL KIDS USJ 12 organized a field trip for all the students aged 2 to 6 years old on 12th, 13th and 14th April 2010 to Putrajaya. The outing was a Boat Cruise around the Putrajaya Lake. The tour buses arrived early at school and departed at 8.30am. The teachers accompanied the students on the bus and it was a good 40-minute bus ride.
All the students had light refreshments on their journey. Upon arrival, the students were taken on a tour to view the state mosque which is also known as the “pink mosque”. The students then proceeded for the lake cruise after spending about ½ hour at the mosque.
The air-conditioned cruise boat was equipped with safety jackets and the captain gave a talk on the usage of the safety jacket which was very educational. The presence of the marine police personnel added some cheer for the children. The staff on board gave a brief explanation on the various buildings surrounding the lake that the students viewed on the cruise boat. It was a 20 minute boat ride around the lake.
The children enjoyed themselves very much and were back to school by 11.45am, on time for dismissal.
