The ‘Familly Fun Weekend Carnival and Open Day’ was held at the REAL Kids Shah Alam centre on Saturday, 22nd of May 2010 from 9am to 3pm. Various competitions were held on this date, including:
a. ‘Colouring Competition’ for Pre-1 & Pre-2 children
b. ‘Craft Competition’ for Pre-3 children (making a picture frame)
c. ‘Craft Competition’ for parents (making a purse)
d. ‘Fancy Dress Competition’ for children aged 4 – 6 years old

A variety of stalls such as food & drinks, souvenirs, sand art, henna, face painting, and games were set up. There was even a lucky draw too! The marketing booth had five enquiries in total with one child successfully registering for Pre-1 (2nd term 2010). This carnival is an annual event for R.E.A.L Kids Shah Alam as it is a day when parents from all walks of life are able to come together and foster relationships with one another as well as to build good rapport with the teachers. It is also an opportunity for parents to get to know us better and to share their ideas.
