REAL Kids Olympiads 2008
A Showcase of REAL Talents

REAL Kids Olympiads was held on July 5th 2008 at Bukit Jalil Indoor Stadium. There were 2 sessions , one in the morning and one in the afternoon, because of the huge number of students and parents. For both, parents already filled up the seats an hour before the event started, with exciting anticipation to cheer for their children. The programs kicked off with the Boys Brigade leading the March Pass. Children from various centres marched in an organized and orderly manner, led by their teachers and principals.

After the National Anthem, REAL Kids Song , Speeches, Sports Pledge, and Opening Ceremony, the sports events began. It was indeed exciting to see the Pre-1, Pre-2 and Pre-3 children in action. Children were well- behaved when taking their respective places for each sports event. When it was time to compete, they were focused and gave their best. Everyone was indeed a winner with their enthusiastic participation!

Purpose
We organized the Kid’s Olympiad to give our children the opportunity to shine; to discover the joys of accomplishments after the sweat and toil of hard work and preparation. At the REAL Education Group, we believe that sports build character and reveal it. The children will learn about good sportsmanship, about teamwork and determination to reach for the finishing line.

We believe that a healthy body supports a healthy mind. Sporting activities also provide an excellent platform to promote friendship and bonding. The experiences of cheering for your team mates, supporting one another in completing an event, winning with humility and accepting defeat with grace are in our field classroom today.
