REAL Kids Fun Camp Sushi at Fun Camp Delicious Dessert Plate
Making Sushi Delicious Food Chocolate
Rice Balls for Sushi Various types of Sushi REAL Kids Desserts

My daughter, Annabelle Chua Tung Ern is a student of REAL Kids Kota Damansara. Last month, she attended the REAL Kids Fun Camp ‘09 in November. Within these 4 days, she had brought home many suprises everyday.

The greatest suprise was when she made us sushi, the day after she visited Sushi King. Fun Camp brought them to Sushi King for a hands-on outing. Step by step, she made it. I was so impressed! And the sushi tasted "Sooo...yummy! " Then came the cake presentation. The children made it in school during Cookery Class in Fun Camp. When she brought it home, she put the cake that she made on a dessert plate and served it to me for high tea.

Of couse the Ostrich Farm was full of excitement too, as she got to ride on an ostrich! She learnt to be nature smart (one of the 8 multiple intelligences) during this trip. Thanks for bringing her through such fun-filled days!

My daughter, Allya Faisal, started attending REAL Kids Bandar Puchong Jaya at the age of 5. I planned to enroll her into a Chinese medium school although both my husband and I do not know Mandarin at all.

Before attending R.E.A.L Kids, Allya does not know how to read and write and I was really worried as I wanted her to attend Chinese medium school. From the beginning, I received overwhelming support and encouragement from all teachers, especially teacher Janet, the principal. We realized that Allya is “word smart” child after sending her to REAL Kids. She picked up reading and writing, both in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and for Mandarin, we saw tremendous & achievement after just 4 months. She was able to recognize characters, read and write within a short period of time.

Today , we are really proud of her achievement and through REAL Kids' modules, we noticed that she has developed skills in other area too. I would like to thank all the teachers especially teacher Kwan and teacher Cheong for their dedication and accommodativeness. I strongly recommend REAL Kids especially to my friends and all parents out there simply because REAL Kids provide the best for their students. My princess Evelyn Bilhon joined R.E.A.L Kids Bukit Jelutong at the age of 5. She was a shy and quiet girl who would stick like a glue to me. She is always afraid to meet and greet people even her closest uncle and auntie. I thought REAL kids will have a really hard time to make her to like the school and her new friends. To be frank she did freak out the first month but after the second month she started to talk about what she did in class and what is the name of her new friends. She is not afraid to see strangers, and greeted people more often.

In such a short period of time I am surprised and glad that she has more confidence in the way she express herself. She is less shy when meeting new people which makes her eager to go to school. Recently we noticed that she likes to read and write voluntarily, an improvement in “Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence”.

She talked a lot about her Chinese teacher Ms. Yeo and we sincerely appreciate her kind patience and guidance in helping my daughter improve her weaknesses. R.E.A.L Kids genuinely improved my daughter confidence and I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

The Advantages of Enrolling Children in Larger Kindergartens

My name is Lee Siew Phaik. I have two children aged 4 and 8 years old, one a current student, another an ex-student of RKC USJ 12. As I share this testimony, I would like to highlight the personal experiences and advantages of sending my children to a large kindergarten.

My eldest daughter’s first day of school in a Chinese Kebangsaan School was a breeze for her. In a new and intimidating environment of new and unfamiliar faces, my child was as calm as can be, in a group of wailing children wanting to return to the comforts of their own home. This gave me a peace of mind and I put all my worries behind me.

After chatting with other new parents at the school, I realized that most crying children attended a kindergarten much smaller than RKC USJ 12. This proves that my decision to register my child in one of Malaysia’s largest chain-operated kindergartens was a wise choice.

In a kindergarten of 350 strong children, they use a school bell to signify the beginning and end of day activities, similar to national schools in Malaysia. My child has also been exposed to multi-racial friends and the ability to socialize freely with them. My daughter is not shy about asking permission to go to the washroom because she has been trained in RKC USJ 12.

Therefore, I would like to reiterate that attending a large kindergarten like RKC USJ 12 has done more good than anything, as my daughter is able to adapt much faster to a new environment like a very strict Chinese Kebangsaan School with much more students as it was nothing out of the ordinary for her.

My son, Arvind De Silva, started attending REAL Kids TTDI at age 4. It was an easy
decision for me to make as my 2 older sons are graduates of REAL Kids and are
doing well at school. Both are currently prefects and excel in sports.
Arvind on the other hand loves speech & drama (“self-smart” & “body smart”). He
represented REAL Kids TTDI in drama competitions and plays a key role in the upcoming
concert. He has become an articulate and confident boy (“word smart”). I believe this will hold
him in good stead as he enters primary school next year.

Arvind loves going to school and speaks highly of his teachers and principal. I have seen how
kind and patient they are. Mrs. Ng, his first year teacher still holds a special place in his heart.
Mrs. Bala, the principal, greets the children with a cherry “Hello Darling!” every morning and it
never fails to put a smile on my face.

I am extremely happy with my decision to put all my 3 boys into REAL Kids and will not
hesitate to recommend to any other parent!

When we enrolled our son, Ho Jin Xiong, for the 4-year old class at R.E.A.L Kids USJ 2, we were highly skeptical that he will have the ability to learn much, owing to his acute level of timidity and unsociable character. Within a span of 6 months, we observed a gradual and earnest transformation in him. Then, one day, we visited the school and saw with our own eyes how he walked into his class with confidence, held conversation with his class teacher alone, mingled and jested with his classmates. From the point of Multiple Intelligences, Jin Xiong has greatly improved in terms of Interpersonal-Social Intelligence.

On the academic front, he exhibited good grasp of numbers and enumeration (Logical-Mathematical Intelligence), from complete ignorance. He had also started to employ words from other languages (Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence). All these could have been possible from the efforts of his class teacher Ms. Lee and other staff of R.E.A.L Kids USJ 2, to whom we are truly grateful. Our experience would only compel us to recommend R.E.A.L Kids to other parents.

Dhurgashiny attended REAL Kids Bukit Jelutong at age 4. She was an introvert before attending school and always did what she wanted, when she wanted. After only several months at REAL Kids, she socialized better and her disciplined improved. In one year’s time, she started displaying leadership qualities and was quite
independent in all her activities (“self smart”).

During her 2nd year, we noticed she had a good ear for music
and had some rhythm in her body and soul (“music smart”). She was chosen to give a speech in Tamil during the concert which was amazing. In her 3rd year, her qualities enhanced with additional classes such as Indian Classical Dance and swimming classes. She continued to excel in her Tamil classes.

Thank you teachers - Ms. Lakshimi, Ms Bianca and Ms Julie.
We are pleased with REAL Kids, and have chosen to continue our daughter’s education at Sekolah Seri Cahaya under the REAL Eduation Group programme, because we believe it works.
